March 27, 2013 Armed Robbery, Toot ‘N’ Totum, 3101 Plains Blvd.

On 3-27-13, at 6:36 PM, officers were dispatched to the Toot ‘n Totum Store at 3101 Plains Blvd. on a robbery.  The clerk reported that she was completing a transaction for a customer at the register when the suspect entered.  The man was a white male in his mid-20s to early 30s, about 5 ft. 9 inches tall, with a slim build.  His head was shaved or bald, and he was wearing a reddish-orange shirt, khaki shorts, and had a camouflage bandana over his face.  He was carrying a handgun in his hand when he entered the store.   The man approached the register and demanded money.  The store employee handed him money from the register.  The man then walked out of the store.  Witnesses told officers that they saw the suspect get into a white or light gray 1990s model Chevrolet or GMC pickup that was parked on the lot.  The suspect then drove south on Virginia Street.  No one has been arrested and there were no injuries in this robbery.
