***UPDATE 3-14-13***APD Robbery Squad investigators have released security camera photos of the suspect in this case. He appears to be small and slender, possibly in his teens or 20’s. He is carrying the cloth or object in his left hand when he enters the store. He is holding his arm across his ribcage as if he is injured, and there appears to be a fresh cut or similar injury on the right side of his head. What appears to be blood is visible on the side of his face. Tattoos on both arms are visible in these photographs of him entering the store.
On 3-14-2013, at 5:10 AM, officers were sent to the Toot ‘n Totum Store at 2300 Dumas Drive on a robbery. Employees reported that a man walked into the store and approached the counter. He had one hand covered with some type of cloth or bag as though he was concealing a weapon. He approached the counter and told the employees that he wanted the money. He took the money from the register and left the store. He was last seen walking north from the store. The suspect was a Hispanic male. He had a shaved head, and was wearing a white shirt. He had tattoos on both arms. No vehicle was seen, and there were no injuries or arrests.
