On Wednesday February 6th at 9:09am, officers were dispatched to 404 S Crockett on a Disorderly Conduct incident. The caller advised a female was throwing clothing and other miscellaneous items out of a house and into the street. The first officer (Cpl Donna Hill) arrived on the scene and approached the residence and began talking with a female occupant. The female was extremely agitated and was cursing at the officer. Cpl. Hill repeatedly tried to calm the female down and told her she needed to pick up all the items she had thrown out into the street. The female continued to be belligerent and cursing out the officer.  The officer continually tried to calm down the occupant however the female became more confrontational. Cpl. Hill attempted to place the female under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. As the officer approached the female, she attempted to retreat back inside the house and slam the door on the officer. Cpl. Hill pursued the female and a fight ensued. The backup officer was approaching the residence at this time. After tasing the individual, officers were finally able to put handcuffs on the female and take her into custody. During the struggle Cpl. Hill struck her head on a metal table and was transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries. She was later treated and released after receiving stitches from a laceration. The female suspect was identified as Brandi Nicole Reeves W/F 32 DOB 5-8-80 and was transported and booked into Potter County Jail on a charge of Aggravated Assault on a Peace Officer and Disorderly Conduct.
