January 20, 2013, Armed robbery 1600 Amarillo Blvd. East, Taylor Petroleum.

At approximately 05:48 officers were dispatched to Taylor Petroleum, 1600 ABE,  on an armed robbery that had just occurred.  The clerk said a BM , 20s,  5-5 to 5-7, came into the store and ordered her to give him money from the register.   The clerk complied and the suspect fled with cash and merchandise.   The suspect was last seen westbound from the store on Amarillo Boulevard wearing gray sweatpants, a dark colored hooded sweatshirt and wearing a bandana across his face.  There have been no arrest at this time and the incident is still under investigation. If your tip leads to an arrest or recovery of stolen property, you could get a reward of up to $1,000.
