On 12-27-2012 at approximately 10:30am, officers were sent to the United at 5601 Amarillo Blvd West on a Robbery. Upon arrival officers talked with employees who stated that a B/M subject had just pulled a gun on another employee. Apparently the suspect came into the store and picked up a few different items of merchandise however did not pay for them and proceeded out the doors to a vehicle. A female employee followed the subject out to the parking lot and confronted the suspect. The suspect pulled out what appeared to be a semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the employee and told her to get away from him, and he proceeded to get into a red Dodge Stratus with the passenger side window taped up and leave the parking lot. Several minutes later, field officers on patrol observed a red Dodge Stratus in a parking lot near Amarillo Blvd West and N Hughes. Officers talked to the occupant of the vehicle who directed them to a nearby motel where the suspect was located. Officers then checked the Deluxe Inn at 620 Amarillo Blvd West where they located a suspect. The subject was arrested and positively identified as the robber. He is identified as Patrick Eugene Coleman B/M 41 DOB 5-12-71. Coleman was arrested and booked into the Potter County Correction Center on a charge of Aggravated Robbery. The weapon was recovered and booked into evidence. It turned out to be a BB/pellet type pistol. At this time it is unknown if any of the stolen merchandise had been recovered.
