Robbery 2615 S Grand

On 12-10-12, at 1:01 PM, officers responded to an armed robbery of the Toot ‘n Totum store at 2615 S. Grand.  The store employee, a WM 19, told officers that the suspect entered the store, walked up to the register, and unzipped her coat.  She then pulled up the grip of what may have been a shotgun with a pistol grip to show it to the employee.  It was concealed, pointing downward.  She told the man that she “needed everything in the drawer.”  The employee handed the woman the money in one register.  The suspect then asked for and was given the money in the other register.  The suspect left on foot, south and then west from the store, crossing S. Grand Street.  She was described as being a white or Hispanic female in her 20s or 30s, 5 feet 5 inches tall, medium build, wearing a pink knit type cap, sunglasses, a dark colored coat (black or blue) with a lighter colored design on the left upper chest, and blue pants or jeans.  No one was injured in the robbery.  If you have any information on this robbery, contact Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400
